1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cloves garlic, sliced
1 red bell pepper, chopped
1 (16 ounce) package frozen sugar snap peas, thawed
3 tablespoons water
salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons butter
Preparation:
In large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic; cook and stir until garlic is fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add bell pepper; cook and stir for 2 minutes longer. Add sugar snap peas and water; cover and bring to a boil. Uncover and simmer for 4-5 minutes or until peas are tender and hot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and butter; toss until butter melts.
