ingilizce sıcak çikolata tarifi - hot chocolate recipeThis Crockpot hot chocolate recipe has just two ingredients, so it's really easy. But unlike many slow cooker recipes, this one cannot be left alone for hours. Be sure to stir the hot chocolate frequently (about every half hour) as it's cooking in the Crockpot for best results.
I like to make this Crockpot hot chocolate recipe when it's a snowy day. I can put it in the slow cooker, go out and play in the snow with the kids, then come back to a wonderfully hot mug of homemade hot chocolate.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours, 5 minutes
Yield: 4-6 servings
Ingredients:
16 oz. dark or milk chocolate candy melts or melting chocolate disks
1 quart whole milk (skim milk may be substituted, but the hot chocolate will be thin and a bit watery; for a richer hot chocolate, use 4 cups of whole milk and 4 cups of cream)
marshmallows, homemade whipped cream and/or peppermint sticks for garnish
Preparation:
Place the chocolate candy melts and milk in the slow cooker. Cover, and heat on low for 20-30 minutes. Uncover, and whisk the hot chocolate well (this prevents a skin from forming on the hot chocolate and keeps it uniform).
Repeat, whisking the hot chocolate every 30 minutes or so until all of the chocolate disks are melted.
Important note: Don't let this hot chocolate sit in the slow cooker for more than 3 hours, especially if you have a newer (less than 5 years old) slow cooker. These slow cookers are set to cook at a higher temperature than the older models, and if you leave the hot chocolate in the Crockpot too long, it could overheat and seize up on you.
Serve the hot chocolate topped with homemade marshmallows, whipped cream and/or peppermint sticks.
