This super simple pie is so delicious. You can vary the flavor any way you'd like - I personally love butter pecan ice cream, toasted chopped pecans, and caramel sauce.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
18 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 quart coffee ice cream, slightly softened
2 cups chocolate ice cream, slightly softened
1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
1 cup hot fudge sauce
Preparation:
Mix crushed cookies and melted butter and press on bottom and up sides of 10" pie plate. Freeze about 15 minutes or until firm. Spread both kinds of ice cream gently and evenly in crust. Sprinkle with almonds. Freeze at least 3 hours until firm. Remove pie from freezer 10 minutes before serving. Serve with hot fudge sauce. 8 servings
